The head of Kurdistan province election headquarters announced the election results of the 12th term of the Islamic Council and the sixth term of leadership experts in Kurdistan province.
According to the Kurdewari news agency, Mehdi Ramezani said on Saturday in the Kurdistan province journalists' meeting: Based on the results of the votes counted in Bijar constituency, Alireza Zandian was elected as the elected representative of the people of this city with 10,403 votes.
He added: The total number of votes cast in Bijar city was 37,977, of which 35,695 correct votes were cast.
The head of the Kurdistan election headquarters noted: In the constituency of Qorveh and Dehgolan, Mohammad Rasool Sheikhizadeh was elected as the elected representative of the people of this city with 17,458 votes.
Ramezani continued: A total of 76 thousand and 72 votes were collected in the constituencies of Qorwa and Dehgolan, of which 70 thousand and 163 votes were correct.
He continued: A total of 50,719 correct votes have been cast in Marivan and Sarovabad constituencies.
The head of Kurdistan province's election headquarters added: Omid Karimian was also nominated as the elected representative of the people of Marivan and Sarovabad with 11 thousand 67 votes.
Ramezani clarified: In Saqqez and Baneh constituencies, Mohsen Bigleri was declared elected by obtaining 16 thousand and 35 votes out of a total of 65 thousand and 96 valid votes.
The head of Kurdistan province election headquarters also said about the results of Kurdistan province's assembly of leadership experts: In the elections of the assembly of leadership experts, teacher Faiq Rostami won 130 thousand 516 votes and teacher Iqbal Bahmani won 103 thousand 722 votes. They were elected second by the people of Kurdistan province.
Ramezani clarified: In this period of elections in Kurdistan province, a total of 390 thousand and 86 eligible people of the province participated, and the total number of eligible voters was 1 million 281 thousand 569.
He added: Salar Moradi with 25 thousand 234 votes and Mohsen Fathi with 24 thousand 383 votes out of a total of 112 thousand 908 correct votes were elected as elected representatives of the people of Sanandaj, Diwandara and Kamiyaran constituencies.
