Sanandaj ready to hold Kurdish Elites Congress
The head of Kurdish Elites Congress Secretariat expressed his satisfaction with the preparations for holding the congress and assured that all necessary measures have been taken to hold the cultural event in Sanandaj, the capital of the Iranian western province of Kurdistan.
Adnan Barzanji told the reporter of the congress that it seeks to introduce and honor Kurdish elites and prominent figures all around the world and honor their years-long efforts.
Notifying that Sanandaj is a cultural city, Barzanji stated the city should be considered as ‘the mother of all cities culturally.’
The official further voiced his hope that the congress would be held so outstandingly that it would become a model for the other provinces.
He added what makes the congress different and significant is that it will honor the living elites, successful in the all arenas of art, literature, science, sports and etc.
The congress has been planned to be held in July 2 and 3 in Kurdistan Universiy in Sanandaj.
